Job Title: Country Manager Colombia
Reports To: Senior Vice President LATAM
Location: Bogota
BASIC FUNTION:
This is a commercial role with a revenue target and also with complete responsibilities over the local management of the operations in Colombia. This person will be responsible for the whole commercial cycle, including identifying market opportunities, developing a prospect list, qualifying prospects, closing new business and establishing lost lasting bonds with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, an entrepreneurial sprit, the ability to work independently and enjoy a rapidly growing, fast paced environment. Experience in syndicated research or online media sales a huge plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Segment market opportunities, research companies across segments and develop a qualified prospect list.
•Within qualified prospects identify key decision makers, set up in person meetings to discuss the value of the comScore product line and ultimately develop relationships with them with the goal of closing new business.
•Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and demonstrate how the entire comScore product line can assist them to achieve their business goals – looking for cross sell and up-selling opportunities.
•Ultimately, achieve the sales goals agreed upon.
•Be responsible for the general management of the Colombian operation, including (but no limited to) acting as Legal Representative and managing tax related-issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•A highly motivated, proven commercial professional with a demonstrated track record of success
•5 to 7 years direct commercial experience required on online media is strongly preferred
•Strong understanding of the local online marketing market and how this information can be applied to help Colombian clients achieve their goals
•Direct experience selling online market research is a big plus
•Established contacts and relationships within the industry a strong plus
•People Management skills
•A relentless work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile
•University degree in any of the following: Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics or Media Studies
•Fluency in English
